How BaTimo uses OpenAI
Which BaTimo features are powered by OpenAI models, what content is sent to them, and where to read the data terms that apply.
BaTimo uses AI models from OpenAI to power your assistant. This page explains where OpenAI is involved and what that means for your data.
What OpenAI is used for
| Feature | What the model does |
|---|---|
| Assistant replies | Reads the conversation, your assistant setup and your business knowledge, and writes the reply. |
| Images | Understands images that customers send, such as a photo of a product. |
| Voice messages | Turns a customer's voice message into text. |
| Spoken replies | Turns a text reply into speech when voice replies are used. |
BaTimo chooses and updates the models itself. You do not need an OpenAI account or API key.
What is sent to OpenAI
To answer a customer, BaTimo sends only what that task needs: recent messages from the conversation, the instructions and knowledge of your assistant, and any image or voice message being processed. Payment details and your sign-in credentials are not part of this.
Data terms
BaTimo's public policies do not describe how OpenAI retains data or whether it is used for model training. For these points, contact support and, if you need it, request a Data Processing Agreement. See Data and privacy policy.
Tips
- Do not put secrets or sensitive personal data in assistant instructions or knowledge documents.
- Use Message Guard to stop unwanted messages before they reach the assistant.
