Webhooks: send BaTimo events to your systems
Create webhooks that notify your own app about new leads, messages, bookings and conversations, with authentication, tests and delivery history.
Webhooks push real-time events from BaTimo to an HTTPS endpoint you control, for example to add leads to your CRM.
Create a webhook
- Open Settings > Webhooks and choose Add Webhook (or Create Your First Webhook).
- Name: for example "My CRM Integration".
- Endpoint URL: must be a valid HTTPS URL.
- Timeout (seconds): from 5 to 300.
- Authentication: None, Bearer Token, Basic Authentication or API Key (with a header name such as
X-API-Key). - Events to Subscribe: choose at least one.
- Create Webhook.
Events
| Event | Sent when |
|---|---|
| New Lead | A customer becomes a lead (contacts who only shared details are not sent) |
| Lead Updated | A lead's name, email or phone changes |
| New Message | A message is received |
| Message Sent | A message is sent |
| Booking Created | A booking is made |
| Booking Updated | Booking details change |
| Booking Cancelled | A booking is cancelled |
| Conversation Closed | A conversation is closed |
Test and monitor
- Test sends a sample payload and shows the response, Status Code and Latency.
- Deliveries shows the Delivery History (filter All, Successful, Failed), the response, and View Payload. Use Retry on a failed delivery.
- The overview shows Success Rate and Avg Response Time.
- Enable or Disable a webhook without deleting it.
- Regenerate Secret invalidates the current signing secret; update your receiver afterwards.
Tips
- Respond quickly (under your timeout) with a 2xx status and process the payload asynchronously.
- Keep the secret in your server's configuration and verify requests with it.
Troubleshooting
- "HTTPS URLs are required": use an https:// endpoint.
- Failed deliveries: open the delivery, check the response, fix your endpoint, then Retry.
Limitations
- Requires the Company Settings permission. Events are limited to the list above.
