Connect WhatsApp
Connect WhatsApp by scanning a QR code or entering a pairing code, or use WhatsApp Business through Facebook, and manage its settings.
BaTimo supports two kinds of WhatsApp connection.

Your plan limits how many WhatsApp channels you can have (Free has none; Starter 1; Pro 2). See Plans, usage and billing.
Connect with a QR code
- Open Channels > Add New Channel > WhatsApp.
- Choose Start WhatsApp Connection.
- On your phone open WhatsApp, tap Menu (⋮) or Settings, choose Linked Devices, then Link a Device.
- Point your phone at the QR code on screen. Keep your phone connected to the internet and keep the page open until it says WhatsApp is ready and connected!
The QR code expires after a while. If it does, restart the connection.
Pair with a code instead
Choose Login with Pair Code, enter your phone number with country code (for example +1234567890; digits only after the +, at most 15), and press Continue. Then in WhatsApp open Linked Devices and enter the code shown.
Connect WhatsApp Business
- Open Channels > Add New Channel > WhatsApp Business.
- Choose Connect with Facebook and complete the Facebook login.
- Select your WhatsApp business phone number. You can change it later with Change Phone Number.
Channel settings
On the channel's Settings tab: Answer Messages with AI (let the assistant answer messages no flow handles) and Blocked Numbers (silently ignored). Use Disconnect WhatsApp to disconnect, or Reconnect WhatsApp after a disconnection.
Tips
- Use a dedicated business number.
- Keep the linked phone online, charged and with WhatsApp installed, as it holds the link.
- Interactive flow buttons are shown as numbered options on QR-code WhatsApp (see DM flows).
Troubleshooting
- QR code does not scan: restart the connection to get a fresh code.
- "Disconnected from WhatsApp": choose Reconnect WhatsApp and scan again.
- "Facebook SDK might not be fully loaded": refresh the page or retry.
- Leaving the page cancels the connection: stay on the page until it completes.
Limitations
- Sticker messages are ignored silently.
- QR-code WhatsApp depends on your phone staying linked; WhatsApp Business API does not.
- Mobile app: connection screens open inside the app and work the same way.
