Notifications: push, in-app and email

Choose how you are alerted about new leads and human support requests, enable push notifications, and review alerts.

What you are notified about

  • New Lead: when a customer becomes a lead in your company (a contact who only shared details does not trigger it).
  • Contacts & human support: when a customer asks for a person. See Human handoff.

Notification channels

ChannelNotes
In-App NotificationsShown in the bell menu and the Notifications page
Push NotificationsDelivered even when the app or browser tab is closed
Email NotificationsSent to your account email

Set preferences

  • Web: Settings > Account > Notification Preferences. Switch each notification type on or off per channel, then it saves. Reset to Defaults restores the defaults.
  • Mobile: Profile > Notification preferences (opens the Console page).

Enable push notifications

  1. In Notification Preferences choose Enable Push Notifications (Subscribe to Notifications).
  2. Allow notifications when the browser asks.

If push is blocked, click the lock icon in the browser address bar, change notifications to Allow, refresh and try again. Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge are supported; push is not available in browsers that do not support it.

Quota alerts

BaTimo emails you, shows an in-app notification and sends a push notification (company-wide) when your conversation quota is nearly used: a warning at 80 percent, a critical alert at 90 percent, and an exceeded alert at 100 percent. See Conversation quota.

The Notifications page

The bell shows unread notifications. Choose Mark all read or open the Notifications page to see all, with paging. On mobile open the bell from Home; items are grouped (Today, Yesterday, Earlier).

Tips

Troubleshooting

  • No push on iPhone or Android: check system notification permission for the app.

Limitations

  • Quota alerts are company-wide and cannot be switched off per user.
